Frequently Asked Questions

  • Permanent jewelry is a custom-fit bracelet, necklace, or anklet that is welded directly onto your body — no clasp, no closure. It's sized to fit you perfectly and fused shut with a small pulse welder, so it sits flush against your skin and stays there.

  • It depends on the event and we're always happy to chat through the details. For pop-ups at salons, boutiques, and studios, we typically work on a revenue share basis — no upfront cost to you.

For private parties — bachelorettes, birthdays, girls' nights, and group gatherings — we work with an agreed upon minimum spend depending on number of guests (usually about $500). If your guests hit that minimum spend between them, you're all set. If not, the difference comes back to you as the host. Either way, you walk away with a great experience and beautiful pieces to show for it.

Reach out through our contact page or DM us on Instagram to talk through what works for your event.

  • Not at all. The welder emits a tiny pulse of energy to fuse the chain — there's no heat, no needle, no pain. Most people describe it as a small flash of light. The whole process takes just a few minutes.

  • Nope — all of our pop-ups and markets are walk-up friendly. Just find us, browse the chains, and we'll take care of the rest. Follow @moxiejewelrycompany on Instagram to see where we'll be next.

  • It's permanent in the sense that there's no clasp to undo — but it can be removed if you ever need to. A simple pair of scissors or wire cutters will do the job cleanly. If you ever want it re-welded after removal, just come find us at an event and we'll take care of it or shoot me a text or email to schedule an appointment.

  • For airport security — yes, small delicate chains very rarely trigger metal detectors, but results can vary. For MRIs — we recommend removing any metal jewelry beforehand as a precaution. Your chain can always be re-welded after.

  • Very little. Both metals are tarnish-resistant with normal wear. If you want to keep them looking their best, a gentle polish with a soft cloth every now and then is all it takes. Avoid harsh chemicals like bleach or chlorine-heavy cleaners.

  • With proper care, permanent jewelry can last a lifetime, retaining its beauty and durability.

  • No, we only use the highest quality gold filled & .925 sterling silver in our jewelry.

  • Yes. Both sterling silver and 14k gold fill can be worn in the shower, ocean, pool, river, or hot tub. They're built to stay on!

  • From picking your chain to walking away with your new piece, most appointments take 10 to 20 minutes. No waiting rooms, no lengthy process — just show up and go.

  • We do pop-ups, markets, and private events across Central Oregon and beyond. The best way to stay in the loop is to follow @moxiejewelrycompany on Instagram or check our Events page.
